Authorize subscribers

By default a hub grants every SUBSCRIBE. Setting wired_moqt_hub.authorize_subscribe turns it into a relay that checks every request – own tracks and peer tracks alike – before anything else runs.

  • hub.authorize_subscribe = authorize registers the hook; authorize_ctx is its opaque first argument. 0 (the wired_moqt_init default) keeps the hub open.
  • The hook receives the requested Full Track Name and the presented AUTHORIZATION TOKEN parameter (0 when the request carried none) – verifying a real token scheme (CAT, Privacy Pass) is the deployment’s job; the SDK only carries the bytes and calls the hook.
  • draft-ietf-moq-transport-22 15.3: every SUBSCRIBE passes the check before any track matching. A name the policy refuses answers REQUEST_ERROR (9.4) UNAUTHORIZED even if no track by that name exists at all – this page’s secret is never published anywhere, so the refusal is entirely the policy’s, not a side effect of a missing track.
  • A name the policy grants proceeds exactly as the previous pages: matched against the hub’s own tracks (and peer tracks), then SUBSCRIBE_OK and the usual delivery.
